Study abroad during your higher education studies at Niels Brock

Partners

Niels Brock is cooperating with three major networks, the Erasmus programme (for EU and associated countries) the Nordplus programme (for Nordic countries) and the DK-USA programme. Furthermore, we have a few non-European partners outside these programme areas.

It should be noted that the number of places at each university is limited, and that students have to be selected by The International Office in order to get a place. If you are interested in other countries than the above please contact the International Office.

Finances

The partner universities and colleges that we work with have agreed to open up a limited number of places for our students without charging the students any tuition fees. Furthermore, they have all agreed to help our students find accommodation.

Every year Niels Brock sends in applications to get financial support for our students to study abroad. In 2009 the financial support from the Erasmus programme amounted to 200 Euro per month, from the Nordplus programme 220 Euro per month + extra support for travelling and for the DK-USA programme approx. 8.000 DKK for a semester.

You do not pay taxes on these grants, as this extra financial support is intended to cover some of your additional costs when you go abroad. You are still entitled to your SU (Danish government educational grant).

Who can go?

Students of the AP degree programmes in Marketing Management, Financial Management and Logistics Management can study abroad during their 4th semester.

Bear in mind that a study abroad period is a privilege, not a right.

Students of other higher education programmes offered at Niels Brock may contact the International Office to hear about possibilities.
